Melbourne had an EDGE today

Today, Sunday the 8th of December 2024, we had a visitor in Melbourne. The Celebrity Edge came to Melbourne.

Station Pier is the cruise port of Melbourne and there have been threats of the terminal being revamped.

Today, as the picture above shows, The Celebrity Edge tied up to the dock at Station Pier. It gave the cruisers on board an opportunity to see the city of Melbourne in all its glory.

People had the opportunity to check out the markets on the St Kilda esplanade, try some Spaghetti His in Bay St Port Melbourne, see the Crown Casino or the Polly Woodside in the CBD,or even ride a tram from the pier to the city.

As cruisers, we were excited to see her because we have had a cruise booked on her in the near future. We were excited to see the Magic Carpet, the livery and even a chance to talk to the crew. Have you sailed on her? Did she give you as much pleasure as she looks like she will give us?
